Epson WF-C5790 scan has blue tint
## Scanner Epson WF-C5790 with firmware 16.63.CV24JA ## Distro Fedora 31 x86_64 (up-to-date) ## Installed software - sane-backends-1.0.28-5.fc31.x86_64 - sane-backends-libs-1.0.28-5.fc31.x86_64 - sane-backends-drivers-scanners-1.0.28-5.fc31.x86_64 - sane-frontends-1.0.14-33.fc31.x86_64 - Epson imagescan-3.61.0-1epson4fedora31.x86_64 - Epson imagescan-plugin-networkscan-1.1.3-1epson4fedora31.x86_64 - simple-scan-3.34.2-1.fc31.x86_64 - VueScan 9 x64 (9.7.18) ## Meaning of blue tint A scan of a white A4 with one line of black text will turn the white background into a blue tint. So anything white turns into a blue tint when scanned. ## Good (no blue tint) Scanning on the Epson WF-C5790 directly to a USB stick inserted in the Epson WF-C5790 (pdf, jpg and tiff are all good) Scanning with VueScan over the network (pdf, jpg and tiff are all good) ## Bad (all scans are blue tinted): Scanning with Epson imagescan over the network (pdf, jpg and tiff are all bad/blue tinted) Scanning with simple-scan over the network (pdf, jpg and png are all bad/blue tinted) Scanning with xsane over the network (pdf, jpg, png and tiff are all bad/blue tinted) ## Need more info? Please let me know if you need more information. Thanks for any hint how to fix this.
