Canon scanner not work after scanner wakeup from sleeping mode
SANE Version: scanimage (sane-backends) 1.1.1-debian; backend version 1.1.1
Platform and OS: Linux ff-scanner 5.15.0-52-generic #58-Ubuntu SMP Thu Oct 13 08:03:55 UTC 2022 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux (Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS)
Scanner Model : CANON DR-M160 II
Connection : USB
How to test:
- power on scanner
- check
scanimage -Land gotdevice 'canon_dr:libusb:001:007' is a CANON DR-M160 scanner - wait 10 minutes
- when blue indicator start blink call again
scanimage -L
Behavior: The command scanimage -L seems to wake up the scanner, but the scanner is not available. Applications (Document Scanner and XSane) do not see the scanner and cannot work with it. Only reconnecting the USB cable helps the scanner work again. Even rebooting the laptop does not help restore the scanner if it is(scanner) in sleep mode. I tryed a lot of change in OS. Detail here. Today I deleted Ubuntu 20.04 and install new version of OS. But problem is same. This issue same as was describe here
Reproducibility: Always
