Open device fails for HP DeskJet 2632 : Out of memory

When I use the Document Scanner on Linux Mint Debian Edition 5 with the standard drivers, it detects my scanner, but when I try to scan a document, it always fails. I currently use airscan as an alternative, and that works OK.

Scanning is OK on Linux Mint 20.3, which is based on Ubuntu Focal.
