Epson Perfection V37 - scanimage: error during device I/O

Hi,

I receive the error Error during device I/O when trying to scan with Epson Perfection V37 in VoidLinux. Please see the details below.

$ scanimage --version
scanimage (sane-backends) 1.0.32; backend version 1.0.32

$ scanimage -L
device `epsonscan2:EPSON Perfection V37/V370:003:009:esci2:usb:ES00DD:330' is a EPSON EPSON Perfection V37/V370:003:009 flatbed scanner

$ scanimage -d 'epsonscan2:EPSON Perfection V37/V370:003:009:esci2:usb:ES00DD:330' --format tiff > test.tiff
scanimage: open of device epsonscan2:EPSON Perfection V37/V370:003:009:esci2:usb:ES00DD:330 failed: Error during device I/O

Also dmesg has this error which may or may not be connected with the issue above:

P.S. The scanner works fine in Ubuntu 22.04.
