build: Fix out-of-tree builds
This patch series avoids assumptions about exactly how Samba is being built and that the ./bin/default is relative to the current working directory of the waf tool.

The 17.0 major release is coming on May 16, 2024! This version brings many exciting improvements to GitLab, but also removes some deprecated features.
