Select audio profile: missing profiles
Hi! I just discovered this package and it seems like a great fit for my use case; thanks for your work!
I have an issue that relates to #1 (closed), but seems slightly different: certain audio profiles don't seem to show up (compared to with blueman-manager). Furthermore, switching audio profiles doesn't seem to have any effect, though I might not be doing it correctly. Here's both issues explained in further detail:
Missing audio profiles
When connecting to a device with a prefix argument, you can choose an audio profile. I don't know if this list is static or not, but it doesn't match what I see in blueman-manager. In particular, in blueman-manager, I get multiple HSP profiles listed, including one that uses the mSBC codec. This codec gives gives a much better quality than the standard HSP/HFP profile. Is it possible to select this somehow?
Changing profiles doesn't work
When I try and change the profile of a connected device, either via prefix arg + connect or via bluetooth-connect-profile, nothing happens. The switch from A2DP to HSP is very noticeable so it shouldn't be hard to hear the difference. When selecting profiles in blueman-manager, the switch is instant. Am I doing something wrong here?
