Revive CMake support - iOS
This is a follow up of #325 (closed):
Currently, the iOS build is still on
qmake. Ideally, we should also migrate it to
cmake to be consistent (and finally drop qmake). For this:
- We need to check if we can use
cmakeat all. It should be possible, however, for Qt5 only with a third party toolchain file (which would still be okay).
- We also could check if we already could migrate to Qt6 for the iOS build.
- We can easily set up the build machine (no dependencies on someone packaging Qt6 for us).
- However, we would need to workaround the not yet ported Qt modules (namely, QtRemoteObjects).
This could proof to be a valuable pipe-cleaner, as we also would need to check the downstream dependencies we are using.
