You can play several different games that make Bible memorization easy and FUN! When you’ve mastered a Bible memory verse, the app brings it up for review every few days so you can retain what you’ve learned.

Retrieve passages from online bibles or add and edit any other text.

### Adding a Verse
Select the tab "New" and press on the "+" button at the bottom of the screen to open the form.
Fill in reference and passage and tap on the top left button (disk symbol) in order to save to verse. The verse is now listed in your inbox.
### Retrieving a Passage from an Online Bible
If Remember Me recognizes the reference (e.g. 1st Jn 3:16 or 1John 3:1-3) as a reference to a Bible passage and the source (e.g. ESV) as an online Bible version, it displays a button with a book symbol. An additional toggle button allows to retrieve the passage with or without verse numbers.
If you tap the Scripture button, Remember Me opens the online Bible's website and offers you to paste the passage into the app. You can add additional line breaks or other modifications and save the verse (see above).
### Editing a Verse
If you tap on a verse listed in one of the three boxes (New, Due, Known), it is displayed as a flash card. You can edit it by tapping on the pencil symbol in the top bar.

What does your user need to understand about your project in order to use it - or potentially contribute to it?

For many projects, users may not need much information beyond the information in the [Overview](/docs/overview/), so this section is **optional**. However if there are areas where your users will need a more detailed understanding of a given term or feature in order to do anything useful with your project (or to not make mistakes when using it) put that information in this section. For example, you may want to add some conceptual pages if you have a large project with many components and a complex architecture.
Remember to focus on what the user needs to know, not just what you think is interesting about your project! If they don’t need to understand your original design decisions to use or contribute to the project, don’t put them in, or include your design docs in your repo and link to them. Similarly, most users will probably need to know more about how features work when in use rather than how they are implemented. Consider a separate architecture page for more detailed implementation and system design information that potential project contributors can consult.

Apply the basic principles of memorizing Scripture to your life.
---
### 1 Add a new Bible memory verse.
Remember Me offers various options to save a Bible memory text to your phone. You can
- enter it on your pc's Internet browser and sync (see Web Synchronization)
- enter it on your Android device (see Editor)
- retrieve a verse from a variety of Bible versions (see Editor)
- load example Bible memory verses from SD card (see SD card)
- download Bible memory collections of other users (see Collections)
### 2 Commit a Bible verse to memory.
Remember Me offers various options to save a Bible memory text to your phone. You can
- Listen to it (see Audio)
- Play with it
- Memorize it word by word and line by line (see Practice)
Remember Me provides the tools in the verse's context menu (long press).
### 3 Use topics.
Not everybody is good with numbers - and you don't need to be to to memorize with system. Add a topic to your Bible memory verse (see Editor) and it will help you pick out the right Bible verse from your memory.
### 4 Review memorized Bible verses.
Once you have committed a Bible memory verse, it shows up for review (see Lists). You can review memorized Bible verses directly from the 'Due' list or use flashcards (see Flashcards). Say the Bible memory verse aloud and check if you got it right.
Remember Me makes sure you review newly memorized Bible verses often, but don't forget well known Bible memory verses either (see Review Frequency).
### 5 Redeem the time.
Make the most of every opportunity. Remember Me works because you can take the one minute during which you are walking to your car or ten minutes while you are eating Muesli in the morning to memorize Scripture. Keep it with you and use it during those natural pause moments of life.

The Overview is where your users find out about your project. Depending on the size of your docset, you can have a separate overview page (like this one) or put your overview contents in the Documentation landing page (like in the Docsy User Guide).
Try answering these questions for your user in this page:
## What is it?
Introduce your project, including what it does or lets you do, why you would use it, and its primary goal (and how it achieves it). This should be similar to your README description, though you can go into a little more detail here if you want.
## Why do I want it?
Help your user know if your project will help them. Useful information can include:
* **What is it good for?**: What types of problems does your project solve? What are the benefits of using it?
* **What is it not good for?**: For example, point out situations that might intuitively seem suited for your project, but aren't for some reason. Also mention known limitations, scaling issues, or anything else that might let your users know if the project is not for them.
* **What is it *not yet* good for?**: Highlight any useful features that are coming soon.
## Where should I go next?
Give your users next steps from the Overview. For example:
* [Getting Started](/docs/getting-started/): Get started with $project
* [Examples](/docs/examples/): Check out some example code!

If your project has an API, configuration, or other reference - anything that users need to look up that’s at an even lower level than a single task - put (or link to it) here. You can serve and link to generated reference docs created using Doxygen,
Javadoc, or other doc generation tools by putting them in your `static/` directory. Find out more in [Adding static content](https://docsy.dev/docs/adding-content/content/#adding-static-content). For OpenAPI reference, Docsy also provides a [Swagger UI layout and shortcode](https://www.docsy.dev/docs/adding-content/shortcodes/#swaggerui) that renders [Swagger UI](https://swagger.io/tools/swagger-ui/) using any OpenAPI YAML or JSON file as source.

Games and an intelligent review system help you to memorize and retain.
---
> Verses move between the three boxes "New", "Due", and "Known". Studying precedes the transition from "New" to "Due". Reviewing moves the verses between "Due" and "Known".
### Studying
After adding a verse, it can be studied using different kinds of games. To start studying, tap on the verse and on the study symbol in the top bar.
- **Obfuscate**: Hide some words and try to recite the verse by filling in the missing words from your memory. Tap on an obfuscated word in order to reveal it.
- **Puzzle**: Build the verse by tapping on the correct word.
- **Line Up**: Display empty lines or first letters by tapping on the icon on the left. Advance by tapping on "+word" or "+line". Try to recite the word or line before you reveal it.
- **Typing**: Build the verse by typing the first letter of each word.
After committing the verse to memory swipe the flashcard to the right in order to move it to the "Due" list.
### Reviewing
Select the tab "Due". If you would like to change the order or the verses, tap on "Due" again. In order to start the reviewing session, tap on the flashcard button at the bottom.
When reference (and topic) are displayed, recite the verse from memory, then flip the card to check if you were correct. If you prefer reciting the verse line by line (for editing line breaks see [Adding and Editing Verses](/docs/adding-and-editing-verses)), tap the icon in the bottom right corner for each line.
If you remembered the verse correctly, swipe it to the right in order to move it to the "Known" box. This will increase the verse's level (until the review limit in the account's settings is reached). If it was not quite correct, swipe it to the left. This will reset the verse's level to 0. This might sound a bit shocking, but it is very important for the review frequency of the verse. Verses with low levels show up for review more often. This helps to reinforce your memory of it before it gets forgotten. [Spaced Repetition](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spaced_repetition) ensures that you repeat challenging passages frequently, but also don't forget familiar passages.
