First Track Point is before the track was started

I noticed that the first track point recorded in a new track may have a timestamp from much earlier. It may be hours or days before. This affects the track duration, average speed, etc. I suspect it is the last known time/position.

Version: 2.5.3.b130 (f78b0053, build 130) Android Version: 7.0

I've used two workarounds:

1. Start a dummy throw-away track, and stop it after it gets the first point. Then start the real track, which will start with the point that was just recorded in the dummy track.
2. Export the track, and then remove the spurious first point with other software.
