Resume after reseed
Clear instructions on the steps to fuzz, minimizing with reseeding, then resuming fuzzing would be helpful. Personally I am not able to use the afl-multicore utility to restart a fuzzing campaign after minimizing.
Setting AFL_AUTORESUME=1 in target-multicore.conf does not work presumably because the --reseed flag reseeds into SESSIONXXX/queue/
or
Setting the input directory to "input": "-",
in target-multicore.conf and running with the "resume" arg
or
Having the exact same target-multicore.conf and just running afl-multicore with start or resume results in:
Scanning '/XX/XX/XX/fuzz/outputs.cmp.asan/SESSION001/_resume'...
Looks like there are no valid test cases in the input directory! The fuzzer
needs one or more test case to start with - ideally, a small file under
1 kB or so. The cases must be stored as regular files directly in the
input directory.
[-] PROGRAM ABORT : No usable test cases in '/XX/XX/XX/fuzz/outputs.cmp.asan/SESSION001/_resume'
I'm probably missing something dumb, I would appreciate help with this, thanks!
