Unable to register device Error [object ProgressEvent]

I am unable to register a device when following the Equipment -> Devices -> register a device path. Entering the MAC address and validation code is sucessful. When adding a name for the device and clicking the tick icon it results in the Error [object ProgressEvent].

I have tested this in firefox, chrome, and edge. In firefox I tried adding it as a trusted site to my adblocking app. I have made multiple attempts on differnt days.

There is no other details provided by the website, it has never resulted in a different error message.
