lineno error when nesting variants
When compiling twice the following file containing nested variants, I get no error but no critical apparatus either. Upon the third compilation, I get the following error:
! Package lineno Error: \linelabel without \linenumbers.
However, if I ignore it by pressing repeatedly, I end up with a PDF file that looks like expected.
(In case it could be useful: upon the fourth compilation, it gives no error but prints only the innermost variant in the apparatus; upon the fifth compilation, the lineno
error comes back and, if we ignore it, the line number for the innermost variant in the apparatus is set to 0.)
