Adjusting Fever Map Drop Rate
Increase Fever Map Drop Rate
Current drop rate for Blacksmith Blessing Shard and Mythril Ore is .03 for all fever map, recommending adjusting to the following drop rate
[BSB / Mythril Ore]
Sograt Deserts - [0.03 / 0.03] Remain the same
Orc Village - [0.05 / 0.05] Increase value by 0.02
Glastheim Fever Dungeons - [0.1 / 0.1] Increase value by 0.07
Magma Fever Dungeon - [0.3 / 0.3] Increase value by .27
Abyss Lake & Odin Temple - [0.6 / 0.6] Increase value by .57
-The current fever dungeons/maps drop absolutely nothing useful / of decent value for the market. A player would have to spend millions of zenny with the return rate of being in the negative.
-Every single fever map/dungeon is always empty regardless of population, which was proven over time. There will be players that say "those maps are for parties" but, was there ever any active party ever wanting to go there? The answer is NO. Why? Let's revisit point 1. Nothing there is of value, including all the gear and miscellaneous dropped.
-There will also be players that say "that's what champion mobs is for..." but given how low the population is right now, these items are highly in demand, especially for new players.
-New players cannot solo hard MDs and given how there's hardly any public party, new players will be discourage when it comes to upgrading gear and making end game gear, on top of farming raw zenny for random refine box.
-Current market price for BSB is roughly 2.8m+ per shard, and mythril ore is roughly 400k+, with better drop rate, the market price for these items will drop drastically and will most likely bring it back to its initial price of 1.5-2m Bsb and 200k Mythril Ore.
-Increasing drop rates will also be more enticing towards geared players as they will want to go farm those maps and either breaking even or making a little profit after syrups cost. It will also bring in more gear to the market for new players until they can make final end game gear (conq set).
