HAXM on Windows is discontinued. Would it be possible to move to Hyper-V acceleration? (whpx)

It seems like HAXM has stopped being developed my Intel. Since it is no longer being maintained qemu is dropping support. Would it be possible to instead have a option to use Hyper-V? I realize the death of HAXM is a little ways off but it would be good to get ahead of the curve. It is also important to note that Hyper-V does not have the same limitations. It doesn't have a ram limit to my knowledge and it works on both AMD and Intel.
