qemu-system-sparc crashes on floppy access

Description of problem

qemu-system-sparc crashes when accessing the emulated floppy drive of the guest system.

Steps to reproduce

  1. wget http://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-9.2/sparc/installation/bootfs/boot.fs.gz
  2. gunzip boot.fs.gz
  3. qemu-system-sparc -nographic boot.fs
  4. Select option "3) floppy"
  5. qemu-systems-sparc crashes with the messages:
    Ejecting floppy disk
    Segmentation fault (core dumped)
