The latest QEMU 7.1.0 hangs at boot on WIN10 MBR/BIOS virtual machines that used to boot on 7.0.0. The machine stays stuck at logo without the "spinning balls" appearing.
It's basically the same issue as #1115
I tried with QEMU 7.0.0 and WIN10 WORKS/boots in MBR/BIOS/CSM mode (same script that launches same QCOW2 image, just different QEMU versions).
As a workaround I converted the WIN10 machines to GPT and booted WIN10 with EFI/tianocore - and they boot correctly.
This was a very annoying and obscure issue (i.e. machine just froze after update no errors no cpu usage nothing).
