Auto bracket completion is disabled when a new script is created
Auto bracket completion enables the editor to add a right bracket automatically after a left bracket was typed.
How to reproduce:
- Enable auto bracket completion in Settings/Editor Settings/TextEditor/Auto Brace Complete.
- Create a scene, add a root node (whatever you want)
- Create a new script on this node. Built-in or not built-in has no impact.
- Try to type a left bracket
Expected:
- A right bracket should appear next to the left bracket.
Workaround:
- In Settings/Editor Settings, disable TextEditor/Auto Brace Complete, then re-enable it immediately.
- Auto bracket completion now works.
- Every time a new script is created, this behaviour happens.
BY THE WAY, this functionality should be enabled by default. It is currently disabled by default.
