Suggestion to improve the tab bar theme
I find the current tab bar theme to be lacking in accessibility.
Here is what it looks like:
The problem with this, is I honestly can't tell just by looking at it which tab is selected, and which is not. It's something I can learn, but there's nothing intuitive about it. It's also lacking in contrast.
What I propose, is something like this:
Here it is very obvious which is the selected tab. What do you think?
You can test what it looks like by running:
(enable-theme 'modus-operandi)
(custom-theme-set-faces
'user
'(tab-bar ((t
(:foreground "black"
:background "#cccccc"))))
'(tab-bar-tab ((t
(:foreground "black"
:background "white"
:weight bold
:box (:line-width 2 :color "white")))))
'(tab-bar-tab-inactive ((t
(:foreground "black"
:background "#dddddd"
:box (:line-width 2 :color "#dddddd"))))))
Obviously it will have to be reworked with correct variables, but I just want to see what you think of the idea. Essentially the background becomes part of the active tab, like a web browser does it (and like tabs on physical documents work).
