modus + ement.el

Hey Prot,

We're looking at configuring ement.el[1] in RDE[2], and Andrew has suggested some enhancements with respect to your excellent work.

I'm not sure how or where -- or if -- this applies, but it seems an opportunity expand both modus and ement.
