[Change Request] Rearrange Details' tabs in order of importance
If it's possible, I would like to see the tabs in the Details screen of each torrent to have the following layout, from most to least important:
INFO | STATE | PEERS | TRACKERS | FILES | PIECES
-
INFO: Most important screen, so it should stay in the first tab.
-
STATE: Nearly important as the INFO tab, since most people with limited network bandwidth (Wi-Fi or mobile network) would want to see what share ratio they have shared per torrent so they can stop sharing once a torrent reached a 1.0 share ratio, so they can save costs from being charged against their Internet account for over-exceeding their limited network bandwidth.
-
PEERS: Most people would want to see how the peers are connected to see if peers are not leeching i.e being fair, a.ka. "sharing is caring"! If a peer constantly leeched without sharing equally (Yes, uTorrent's leechers, I'm looking at you!), then there should be a option to ban such peer found in the Overflow menu (i.e. the three vertical dots). Currently in LibreTorrent v3.4, there is no ban option. This is probably a New Feature Request. Banned torrent IP address can be added or appended to the existing IP filter list [found in Settings | Network menu option].
-
TRACKERS: Allows us to see if added trackers are working as they should, if not removed ineffective trackers and add new ones.
-
FILES: Most people would only want to see this option at the beginning when the torrent is starting to download. After the torrent started downloading or is completely downloaded and seeding, then seeing this option again is almost of no importance.
-
PIECES: The least important option. Might only be of minor importance if people checked the "Download first and last pieces first" option in the INFO tab. It might allow people to know if they can start streaming a partially completed media torrent once the first and last pieces are downloaded.
Thanks in advance if the above Change Request is implemented in the next release of the LibreTorrent application.
