watch man page in procps: --exec description needs corrections
The man page for watch(1) says:
-x, --exec
command is given to sh -c which means that you may need to use
extra quoting to get the desired effect. This with the --exec
option, which passes the command to exec(2) instead.
which doesn't really make any sense and doesn't match the output of watch --help
which includes:
-x, --exec pass command to exec instead of "sh -c"
Perhaps the description should be more like:
"By default, command is given to sh -c which means that you may need to use extra quoting to get the desired effect. Compare this with the --exec option, which passes the command to exec(2) instead."
