[user interface enhancement] adding the dates of software addings/rejections
[excuse me, I didn't find how to add the "user interface" label...]
Hello !
I want to submit something....
When I go to the lists to find a software alternative, I don't know if the software I'm interested in has been added to the list recently or a long time ago. For example, I found Fennec F-Droid as a recommended web browser, without Mozilla's tracking. But then, in F-Droid Android client, I discovered that Fennec F-Droid HAS some tracking "anti-features". So then I had to look for discussions about Fennec F-Droid in Gitlab or Github issues to see why it is recommended. And the latest discussion about its inclusion in the list was 5 years ago. For me, its presence in the list is thus no information to be taken into account.
So what about the idea to integrate the date of inclusion of each listed software ? And why not a link to the latest discussion that ended up in its inclusion ?
That was for recommended software. Now, for software to be avoided : when I look for a software I know, and want to see if PRISM Break recommends it, if it isn't listed, I don't know if it hasn't been discussed yet, if it's in discussion now, or if it has already been discussed and rejected. And if so, how long time ago ? So, likewise, I have to search Gitlab or Github issues, etc.
So for each category, something like a link to a list of rejected software with the date of rejection, each entry linking to the discussion about its rejection, could allow to provide the information, while avoiding adding an explanation on the main page about why every single software has been rejected.
