Root partition doesn't resize if it's exported and then written to sdcard
For generating the downloadable images on https://images.postmarketos.org/ I run pmbootstrap export
and then upload the [codename].img
file that contains the two partitions for pmos.
If this image is then downloaded and written to an SD card it doesn't get resized because it isn't a subpartition, normally this isn't an issue because pmbootstrap creates the partitions with the full disk size using --sdcard
but that isn't an option for this.
It seems that there's an override with setting PMOS_FORCE_PARTITION_RESIZE
in the kernel cmdline, but I can't find why this isn't just the default behavior? In what case would resizing the root partition while it's not a subpartition cause an issue?
