[PinePhone] Modem powers itself down after a while of phone inactivity.
Describe your issue
What's the expected behaviour?
Pinephone modem active, even when the phone is sleeping.
What's the current behaviour?
After a long period of time, while phone is locked (most often after in the morning after a night of inactivity), modem is not being detected by phone, I mean, I got a warning in "Calls" app that there is no modem available or something along these lines (I will try to quicly write it down next time it happens), there is no cellural data nor signal strenght icon in statusbar, and their settings are gone from settings. After about half a minute of having screen unlocked, everything gets back to normal. I must check it, but I assume that during this period of modem inactivity, every user with this issue can miss calls.
How to reproduce your issue?
- Install fresh build (Mine was from 2020-12-02, I can upload it if needed)
- Update your modem firmware
- Leave phone unattended for 2+ hours (probably more) AND make sure that nobody will call you, or send SMS/MMS. In my case mobile data was always active when issue happened.
- After that time, unlcok your phone, and quickly check status of connectivity.
