powertop needing "enable timer_stats module" to display more than wakeups count

I just started and updated my pmOS from a newly received Pinephone.

I launched powertop in a root terminal, but only got the wakeups count and an error message:

powertop: no stats available; run as root or enable the timer_stats module

Powertop would be usefull to work on power consumption of the system.

On my system I have ~5300 wakeups while doing nothing but waiting for the stats to update. It could be less than 50.
