Pinephone keyboard cannot be used to enter FDE password

What's the expected behaviour?

When booting an encrypted install of pmOS Edge with the Pinephone keyboard attached, I can enter my passphrase.

What's the current behaviour?

The keyboard does not enter anything, additionally the on screen button for the on screen keyboard does not show the onscreen keyboard.

How to reproduce your issue?

A fresh install of pmOS edge (using SXMO)

What device are you using?

Pinephone (I beleive it's a 1.3 version?)
