Sending coins to a "valid" but wrong entered address

i'm trying to send coins to this address bitcoincash:ppg22h8rsqf82t3a7tqquz5muqu8gwgwvu5rjgrmyj, which shows up in the to field, but after I swipe, the funds go to this address bitcoincash:qpg22h8rsqf82t3a7tqquz5muqu8gwgwvurx08ycl0..

i tried it twice by scanning the qrcode, and once by pasting the address, but all 3 times the funds went to the latter address..

kinda scary since I did confirm the address each time, but obviously the amounts were just 3k satoshi, so no big deal..

any idea what's going on? give it a try yourself and see what happens .. but fair warning, it's a CashScript contract, so I cannot easily return funds to you, so please just send (546) dust.
