AutoSmelt affected by Fortune when mining Ancient Debris

When using a tool with AutoSmelt and Fortune to mine Ancient Debris, it drops multiple Netherite Scraps.
This should not happen — Ancient Debris is not affected by Fortune in vanilla Minecraft and should always yield exactly one Netherite Scrap.
