Peter Billam passed away

After figuring out that https://pjb.com.au/comp/lua/readline.html is unfortunately no longer providing the desired (regular) content, I found https://peterbillam.gitlab.io/pjb_lua/lua/readline.html, which is an older version of the original URL (readline.lua version 3.2 instead of latest 3.3). While searching around I found http://peterbillam.fastmail.com.user.fm/comp/lua/readline.html, which refers to readline.lua version 3.3 and provides even the download at http://peterbillam.fastmail.com.user.fm/comp/lua/readline-3.3.tar.gz (also the actual download link is broken).

The domain registration of pjb.com.au expired in mid of September 2024 and has meanwhile been re-registered by a third party for some domain back-/reselling purpose (domain grabber?). Together with #2, I already had some fears, which unfortunately seemed to be confirmed once I found https://social.mcwhirter.io/@craige/113163999592836231: Peter Billam passed away.

While summarizing my findings here for others also looking for e.g. readline.lua, I would like to note that I did not manage to find a second (independent) source providing information (or confirming) that Peter Billam passed away.
