When edges are relatively dense, it becomes difficult to see the corresponding edges of edge labels in graphviz generated figure Is there something similar to ggrepel, to add a short line to connect the labels and the corresponding edges to make the labeling more readable? Thanks.

@hpdeifel Although there are cases with figures, etc., such that the line numbers cannot be determined easily, there are also cases with text only for which the line numbers can be derived easily. For these simple cases I don't think Poppler will be too unstable as pdftotext
pretty much generates the same thing for the same pdf file (with only text) with a different version.
Even though the line numbers may not be clear when there are figures or when Poppler changes between version, one can still define the line numbers as the line numbers that would be in the output from pdftotext
for a given version of Poppler. So this feature of returning line number still can be implemented without any ambiguity as long as the spec of line numbers is clearly document. What do you think?
I only find that pdfgrep
can print page numbers. Is there a way to print line numbers as well? Thanks.
