pdfposter missing off elements

I'm having problems using pdfposter missing off elements. Sometimes this is quite subtle, sometimes this is pretty much all the content!

I attach a PDF that does this, and the result of

pdfposter -p2x1a4 -A dad.pdf dad-a3-pdfposter.pdf

I'm using 0.6.0 from the Ubuntu 14.04 repos.

My work around is to use the poster program like:

pdftops -eps input.pdf - | poster -p2x2A4  | ps2pdf - output.pdf

I notice in your intro text you say that poster sometimes doesn't like content created from PDFs, so I guess its good to have two tools. But as I'd had this issue with pretty much all PDFs I've tried pdfposter with, I thought I'd let you know.
