Manage multiple UOM based GTINs associated with the same item such that they all link to that same product
User Story
(A user story should do one thing for the user)
As a Catalog Manager, I want to have the ability to link multiple Unit of Measure (UOM) specific GTINs associated with the same item so that I may not have to transition from one identifier to another operationally while breaking down packages from pallet to case or case to each etc.
Background Documents
Example: ITEM 1: Identifier - ITEM001 GTIN for Pallet UOM (1000 cases) - 0000001 GTIN for Case UOM (100 eaches) - 0000002 GTIN for Each UOM - 0000003
When breaking down a pallet into 100 cases, downstream operational systems should be able to use ITEM001 as the primary identifier but also easily link up and transition between GTIN 0000001 and GTIN 0000002. Note that packaging labels will have GTINs on them and not the identifier, ITEM001 in this example.
(Insert links to any relevant documents)
Acceptance Criteria
(Describe additional criteria that must be met for the User Story to be complete)
e.g.
- Whenever the user clicks cancel or tries to go forward or back in the browser they should be asked to confirm before they lose changes.
- If the user clicks Save any input should be validated so they can't make a mistake
