large patch truncated with no new-line at end of truncated file

A large patch to a Documentation file (Documentation/filesystems/xfs-online-fsck-design.rst) resulted in truncation of the target .rst file. The file existed in my tree and was truncated with no new-lines. ie:

[When repair walks reverse mapping records to synthesize free space records, it creates a bitmap (` \ No newline at end of file ]

Workaround: Upon discovering, I just manually edited the file.
