Language Leaders (LLs) are the people who coordinate the annotation effort for a given language in the PARSEME community. The goal of the PARSEME community is to construct, maintain and release corpora annotated for multiword expressions. The PARSEME corpora are used, inter alia, in the [PARSEME shared task](home#shared-tasks), which next edition (1.2), entitled [PARSEME on semi-supervised identification of verbal multiword expressions](http://multiword.sourceforge.net/sharedtask2020/), will be held in 2020.

The PARSEME corpora community is divided into Language Groups (LGs), related to language families/genera (e.g. Romance languages, Slavic languages, etc). Each language belongs to a LG. In order to communicate with various members of the PARSEME corpora community, we advise that LLs register and use our [communication tools](home#contacts-and-communication).
