Optimize filmstrip refresh
When one views the pictures one by one in an album with a lot of pictures, and moves to the next picture by clicking on the [>] or [<] buttons, one can see that the filmstrip at the bottom of the screen refreshes in 2 steps:
- The full strip is loaded. It displays the first pictures of the album.
- The strip is slided to display the current picture.
This two-steps operation creates a flicker that is quite noticeable when the album contains a lot of pictures. Ideally, only the second step should be visible. It lasts only few 1/10th of seconds. The following screenshots were captured in an album with more than 1000 pictures.
