Pages no longer works

Pages no longer works : https://pages.gitlab.io/plain-html/ 404

public directory contains another public directory. https://gitlab.com/pages/plain-html/-/jobs/2363343639/artifacts/browse/public/

New script seems not to work :

  script:
    - mkdir .public
    - cp -r ./* .public
    - rm -rf public
    - mv .public public

Could you explain to me what this is for ?
