Issues with list options & archiving
I'm having this issue using the Common Profile, but I believe it would apply to any question set that is used in multiple surveys:
- When cleaning up user-populated lists such as Equity Practices (1.9.1), I'd like to be able to get rid of test answers such as "this, that, other, practice 1", etc. The surveys that contain these entries cannot be archived or edited from the library resource itself, but must be archived from the survey they were entered in. This makes sense to me, although I'm not sure why I'm able to select some results entries but not others:
- When attempting to locate the original survey an entry was entered in, the
meta.survey.idlists the common profile library resource, while themeta.survey.originlists the survey that the question set is a part of, i.e. the original place the survey entry was submitted.
@victoria.grace.cox and @ecbrad Can we add this information to documentation somewhere? It's not evident from the data names.
- When navigating to certain entries, meta.survey.origin goes nowhere, or just leads to an endless spinning wheel. Presumably these are from surveys that no longer exist. However, the entries in the library resource still exist, and cannot be archived - this seems like a problem, particularly since list entries that have been generated from these un-archivable entries persist.
- Can we change the way that survey entries that use question set library resources persist when the survey they're used in is deleted?
