Removing the compiled binaries in the Dependencies folder
We currently bundle the source code of all dependencies of Lugaru in the Dependencies
folder, albeit in relatively old versions.
For OpenAL and SDL 1.2, we also provided compiled binaries for Windows (and one for OSX):
$ find | grep \\.lib$
./OpenAL/lib/win32/msvc2008/OpenAL32.lib
./OpenAL/lib/win32/msvc2005/OpenAL32.lib
./SDL12/lib/win32/msvc2008/SDL.lib
./SDL12/lib/win32/msvc2008/SDLmain.lib
./SDL12/lib/win32/msvc2005/SDL.lib
./SDL12/lib/win32/msvc2005/SDLmain.lib
$ find | grep \\.dll$
./OpenAL/lib/win32/msvc2008/OpenAL32.dll
./OpenAL/lib/win32/msvc2005/OpenAL32.dll
./OpenAL/lib/win32/mingw/OpenAL32.dll
./SDL12/lib/win32/msvc2008/SDL.dll
./SDL12/lib/win32/msvc2005/SDL.dll
./SDL12/lib/win32/mingw/SDL.dll
$ find | grep \\.a$
./OpenAL/lib/win32/mingw/libOpenAL32.dll.a
./SDL12/lib/macosx/libSDLmain-osx.a
./SDL12/lib/win32/mingw/libSDLmain.a
./SDL12/lib/win32/mingw/libSDL.dll.a
For the time being, I propose to get rid of the compiled binaries. They're now outdated (who still uses msvc2005?), and it would be better practice to modify our CMake buildsystem instead so that it can trigger the compilation of SDL 1.2 and OpenAL on Windows just like it does for other libraries.
