Add 10 second grace period for @autoloot with flywings
Description
-
If I flying after dealing >50% damage to a monster, I should be able to @autoloot if that monster dies within 10 seconds of my flying
-
Majority damage dealers should have a grace period where they still get loot after flywing
-
After the grace period (suggested: 10 seconds) has passed, the existing @autoloot rules apply
Rationale
- This would be a significant buff to ME priests, and won't really affect other classes
- This would allow ME priests to kill more than 2 monsters at a time, because they can flywing if they're in danger and still get loot after the next ME tick takes effect
- With current mechanics, I tried playing an ME priest and unless you're level 95+ with best gear, it's extremely impractical without being able to flywing and getting loot
- ME Priests have extremely low HP pool and are unable to kill more than 1-2 monsters at a time without ME flywing
Additional Information
There is a rule atm:
Topic V.3. Autoloot and Exp Abuse
Hitting monsters to damage them by 50% and then teleporting, waiting for someone else to kill them as a strategy for leveling or hunting is against the rules. While the rules for this are not completely defined, GMs are free to use their own judgment to determine whether an incident is an infraction of the rules. This is a very much common-sense rule.
Punishment may vary between a six (6) hour jail for a first offense and a one day account ban. For repeated offenders, temporary bans will be issued on all associated accounts.
This rule would still be the same. If you're an ME priest now, and if you die mid ME running around with 4k HP, you're more likely to leave a mob at half HP than just winging away and letting them die on the next ME tick. The only difference would be that you'd be eligible for autoloot just for those few seconds.
