Plans for migrating to icx?

Dear Kevin,

First of all I wanted to thank you for creating this code and making it publicly available. I am a supervisor of a PhD thesis on protontherapy and your code has proven to be very valuable to us.

I also wanted to ask you, since icc is already deprecated, are there any plans to adapt the code and migrate to icx? I have no idea of how much time or effort it would be needed to undertake this task. Have you considered it?
