Cutting ties on the rear legs
The instructions tell you to cut the ties on the rear legs but I ran into a problem recently where the ties hadn't been completely removed which obstructed the stage movement at the edge of the range of motion. It should be made clear that as little residue of the ties should be left on the main body as possible. Any residue should be removed with precision wire cutters or a craft knife. When running the range of motion test, I found a difference of about 20,000 steps in the total range before I removed the excess ties.
