Possible KeepAlive issue

If I establish a connection with the host, it works great. Problem is if I walk away (say I go to lunch), I come back 30 minutes later, the VPN and the host are still connected, but not talking. The log says nothing is wrong, no errors; not even a disconnect.

Now if in one of my Apps (like Attachmate Extra 3270 emulator) I start a program which causes the host to update the screen every 60 seconds, the VPN stays active fine.

Is this a KeepAlive issue?
