Strap/Belt Design For C6 and C7

Quite a lot of effort is being spent on the design of the rigid structure housing the AMBU, actuator and motor. However not a lot of effort is being spent on the design/sourcing of the strap/belt. A number of people have commented on the impact of differing belt material and width. For those who have already prototyped models, it might be worth dedicating some time to this. In particular the details around affixing the strap to the roller might be important, whether it is mechanical or adhesive, the reliability over a high number of cycles will be worth investigating. Some useful suggestions have been using seat-belts/safety-belts or 3D printing the strap itself.
