Content of text not read by screen reader on first activation/tab
In edit mode with a screen reader, clicking on a piece of text often requires several attempts before the content is read out. The first activation should reliably place the reading cursor and announce the text, so that people can work efficiently without guessing which interaction will yield feedback. Consistent focus handling and a predictable reading order reduce friction and help users stay oriented.
