IPv6-address blocking is not sufficient to prevent DoS
The banning of IPv6 addresses follows the principle of IPv4 address banning (ban each offending address), however in IPv6 users typically have large subnets which may even be a /64 subnet. For that reason we need to implement a more aggressive ban which is a able to detect attacks from whole subnets and block them.
