What
Ocean protocol is a rich ecosystem and, while we have concrete tasks to achieve by this research, we would also want to investigate open possibilities. The two concrete goals of this research is to investigate how the following aspects of Ocean protocol work:
- Searching and accessing datasets on Ocean marketplace from software components running on NuNet -- testing with SingularityNET AI algorithms;
- Researching how Ocean's 'compute to data' functionality works and see how NuNet protocol could integrate into that -- see if NuNet could potentially allow Ocean datasets
Why
Computing economy cannot work without data economy as both are integral parts of computational universe. We want to leverage existing decentralized data provider and storage frameworks to enable compute workflows to access data from decentralized frameworks. Ocean Protocol are partners of SingularityNET and seems an excellent option to start with an integrate, given how close our visions are.
