Brief summary
Putting the laptop to sleep (e.g. by closing the lid) doesn't result in battery savings
How reproducible
Issue is 100% reproducible
How to reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Put the laptop to sleep using the sleep hotkey
- Observe the heat and noise generated by the laptop
- Observe the power LED nearby the power socket
Expected behavior
The laptop powers down, spins down the fans, and blinks the power LED indicating that it is sleeping
Actual behavior
The fans keep on spinning, heat is still generated and the power LED is not blinking
