Unwieldy URL Length & Lag With Large Trees

I have been using the tree tool to make a phylogenetic tree/cladogram for a personal speculative evolution project because other tools are really just paywalled flowchart makers with far too many bells and whistles. Having little to no technical experience beyond basic troubleshooting, I found this to be the perfect thing to use.

However, once I reached a certain amount of entries the site began performing worse and worse. This was only limited to altering and adding new text. I think two potential explanations could be the length of the link itself (at this point just barely short enough to still fit into a 2,000 character discord message) or the live generation of the tree taking longer and longer. As I've said before I am not knowledgeable in the world of technology as of yet so I can't really say much beyond the problem itself.

I'm currently at 133 entries (and counting) and the lag is quite substantial but very much still usable. Copying, sharing, and maneuvering the page is all perfectly fine and smooth though. It's entirely possible that I'm just making my diagram unreasonably large but I thought I might as well mention this here anyways.

Aside from file management there are plenty of use cases for the tool, usually involving organizing one's thoughts. Keeping things simple yet robust is a good way to do that, I think.
