# What Does This Mean for the Feature? #
Without a good way to predict whether a given function will be executed again, it is very hard to predict whether a live JS edit that the user makes will have any effect. Most well-written JavaScript code today, runs in some kind of closure (the [module pattern](http://www.adequatelygood.com/JavaScript-Module-Pattern-In-Depth.html), for example). Just being within a function body does not tell us much.
