Idea: Quick Actions

Now, this is a pretty complex feature and likely not great for a dock-based app. But it jumped to my mind and I wanted to record it.

Proposal

Similar to #24, we could add some kind of command palette or quick action list (like Apple’s Spotlight, VS Code’s/Atom’s command palette, or Figma’s Quick Actions). This could align with the mission statement by allowing (more or less) user-centric commands, such as:

  • Quick Search (#24) of projects, groups, assigned issues/MRs
  • Starting a pipeline: #23
  • Create new merge request or issue
  • Open various pages (security/operations dashboard, my profile, my MRs [both assigned and reviewing], my issues)
